Fabrication of an Aluminum Alloy Antenna Bracket for the Military Industry

With 30 years of experience in machining and fabrication, Dresco was the perfect choice when a customer in the military industry needed custom fabricated aluminum alloy antenna brackets. This bracket was for an external mount on a military vehicle, and was fabricated by only using Waterjet cutting and welding.

Composed of 6061 aluminum alloy which is compliance with ASTM B209 or ASTM B221, it is 338 mm in length, fabricated to tolerances of +0.20mm/- 0.05mm. All specifications were verified through dimensional and visual inspection throughout the fabrication process. After the manufacture of these brackets was complete, each was painted and marked with part identification information. We were able to manufacture and deliver these brackets to our customer in Annistan, Alabama in just 12 weeks, and we produced 482 of them, demonstrating our capacity for high volume orders.
