Precision Waterjet Cutting Services

The precision waterjet cutting services offered by Dresco, provides contract and job shop customers with quality guaranteed work, backed up by personalized customer service.
This service features minimal setup and fixturing time, with no retooling between jobs, and allows for multiple parts to be cut in a single pass. Our process also provides narrow width cutting which saves on materials.
With the capability to work with metals, plastic polymers, and non-metals such as stone, composites, and glass, we can meet the needs of almost any customer. Our 2-axis water cutting equipment uses garnet abrasive as the cutting medium, with waterjet pressure of 50,000 psi, and a cutting speed of 180"/min. We can cut material up to 7" thick, up to 96" long, and up to 48" wide. This service can achieve tolerances of ±.003" to .005", accuracy to ±.003", repeatability of ±.002", squareness of .002"/ft, and straightness of .003"/ft. We do set up, in-process, and final inspections and perform quality controls with optical comparators, digital height gages, thread gages and various other pieces of inspection equipment to ensure quality.
